Certification & Verification Process
Once a learner has completed and submitted all required coursework, they will first receive an Academy Statement of Results. This document confirms that the course has been successfully completed and that the learner’s results are awaiting the official verification process.
Please note that a minimum of 40 completed learners is required before the moderation and verification process can begin. This is because learner files must be submitted in batches for moderation and verification according to INSETA procedures.
Once the minimum number of learners has been reached, the academy submits a batch of learner files for moderation. From this batch, 20 learner files are randomly selected and reviewed by an external moderator to ensure that the assessment process meets the required quality standards.
At the same time, the academy submits a verification request to INSETA (Insurance Sector Education and Training Authority).
After receiving the request, INSETA selects approximately 10 learner files for verification. These files are reviewed by appointed verifiers to confirm that all assessments and moderation procedures were completed correctly.
The verification process typically follows this timeline:
Up to 1 week for verifiers to review the learner files
Up to 3 weeks for the verification report to be submitted to INSETA Head Office
The academy will courier or deliver the required learner files to the appointed INSETA verifier and await the official outcome.
Once the verification process has been approved, the academy will then upload the successful learners onto the INSETA system. At this stage, learners will receive an official INSETA Statement of Results (SOR).
The INSETA SOR confirms that the learner has successfully completed the course and has been recorded on the national INSETA database while the final certificate is being processed.
After this step, INSETA typically takes an additional 3–6 weeks, depending on system processing times, to issue the official physical certificate.
Once the academy receives the certificates, learners will be notified via email or SMS. Learners can then either collect the certificate from our office or arrange courier delivery.
Because this process involves multiple external verification stages, it is difficult to provide an exact completion timeline. However, we will keep learners informed throughout the process and provide updates as each stage progresses.
